What is Microblading?
The truth is, all eyebrows are not created equally. Some eyebrows require little effort to look perfect while others require the help of a small miracle just to get by.
Even though naturally perfect eyebrows are few and far between, eyebrow microblading makes it possible to transform any brows into the closest thing to naturally perfect as possible.
Eyebrow microblading is known by several names, including microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow embroidery, eyebrow feathering, and 3D eyebrows. It has many names but they are all the same. Microblading fills in sparse areas or areas with no hair on your natural brow. This is done by using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. The result is a natural, real life looking hair stroke. We also offer shading to give a more makeup look to the brows. This is reccomended for most clients especially those with little to no hair. We'll discuss the best option for you based on your desired look at the consult portion of your appointment.
No more hasseling with makeup every morning or worrying about it coming off while you're working out, in the pool, or enjoying life. I look forward to helping you achieve your dream brows!
How long is my appointment?
For majority of clients the desired brow can be achieved in 2 appointments. Sometimes an additional appointment is neccesary.
Your initial appointment will typically last anywhere from 2-3 hours. Your perfecting session is included for free and is typically 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.
Additional touch up (color boost) appointments that are neccesary will be purchased according to time from initial appointment. Most customers do an annual color boost to maintain their desired brow.
How long will the results last?
Microblading is not permanent. This is because the pigment is not implanted as deep into the skin as a traditional tattoo. It can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years.
Microblading tends to fade gradually over time so a touch up (color boost) is required usually between 12-18 months. A touch-up may be required sooner for oily-skinned clients, those who tan often, or often expose the brow area to certain chemicals (facial peels, chlorine, anti-aging products, etc.) .
Pigment retention varies depending on skin type, age, aftercare, immune system, and medications.
We only use the best pigments for your service. All materials used during each and every appointment (including pre-sterilized blades) are 100% disposable. We strictly adhere to both the Board of Health guidelines for proper infection control practices and follow all State guidelines and Regulations.
Does microblading hurt?
Microblading is not painless but a topical numbing cream is used to make the process as comfortable as possible. Most clients say it is only a mild discomfort and a 1-4 on a scale of 1-10. Some clients take a quick cat nap during their brow treatment. Pain tolerance varies person to person.
We make your comfort and obtaining wonderful healed results a priority.
Does microblading look natural?
I take pride in creating extremely natural looking brows. Natural looking results are made possible by mastering three key elements of microblading; brow shaping, color theory, and proper technique. I have focussed on each element in order to give your brows the natural, gorgeous look you desire.
What is the aftercare for microblading?
The aftercare is not complicated but it does require some diligence to provide the best possible microblading results. Be sure to follow the aftercare instructions given and explained to you at your appointment.
